OVERVIEW
A HUNDRED MILLION is director Alexander Fodor's latest feature film in development, building on his enigmatic version of Hamlet 2 years ago.

Again the theme is dark, brooking and menacing though much more of Fodor's personal philosophical backcground is seen wihthin the scrirpt as it delves not just into the structure of human imagination itself but also love and romance.

En route to the feature film's shooting in September/October a version for radio is also to be produced utilising novel production and recording procedures.

SYNOPSIS
A HUNDRED MILLION centers around Corbis a fast talking Essex side boy, who turns up on the door step of Richmond, a dark brooding character, one Friday night at 2 o'clock in the morning.

Under his arm is a case. Itself an enigma; heavy and mysterious, it cannot be opened.

Corbis is there to convince Richmond of the case's value by telling the story of the case that evening, starting off with its first appearance chained to the wrist of a dying fat man in the back of a mini-cab, whose last words are "one hundred million".

The potential value of the case to Richmond though is more than money for the simple reason it cannot be opened - and this to a multi-millionaire whose fortune was based on code breaking and who is addicted to puzzles is something money can't buy.

Corbis is there to convince him of this and in return for the case all he wants... is Richmond's wife.
